The Scream 4 poster gave me inspiration through its simplistic yet effective look. I like the idea of the main image in the center on an all black background. You can see that not only does the main image represent the killers mask, but also his weapon, a knife. The poster is simplistic showing only the important information such as the distributor, the release date, and the tagline.
This poster for The Final Destination is a good example of a simplistic yet effective look and feel to it due to its lack of overwhelming information. The poster only tells the audience the important information such as the date, title, and tagline.
When you look at these two posters, you can clearly see resemblance to my own Hangman poster as I took ideas from the two and adapted them to create my own simple yet effective poster.
